Private Equity Expertise Will Further Enhance Reporting Infrastructure, Compliance Standards, and LP Relationships

SAN FRANCISCO, August 13, 2014 – GI Partners (“GI”), a leading middle market private equity firm, today announced that Roy Kelvin has joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to joining GI Partners, Mr. Kelvin served as the Chief Financial Officer of Vector Capital, a San Francisco-based registered investment advisory firm specializing in technology-related private equity investments. Prior to Vector, he served as Chief Financial Officer of the New York-based private equity firm Zephyr Management. He also worked in senior finance and operations roles in the private equity and emerging markets divisions of Wasserstein Perella. 

Cary Anderson, GI’s previous Chief Financial Officer, is leaving the firm to pursue other opportunities. Mr. Magnuson added, “In his ten years at GI Partners, Cary has helped us elevate the firm’s finance, compliance, and investor reporting functions and we want to thank him for his contributions and wish him success in his new endeavors.”
